Friday the 13th, the perfect date to open The Mousetrap

July 2, 2012

“The murderer wore a felt hat, a light scarf and a dark overcoat…”

For sixty years The Mousetrap has been puzzling and pleasing, chilling and charming audiences world wide.  This summer Peninsula Productions is part of the macabre mayhem.  Directed by the very talented Wendy Bollard, The Mousetrap opens on July 11th and runs until July 28th at The Coast Capital Playhouse, White Rock.  The play is a classic Agatha Christie who-done-it featuring a newlywed couple, a persnickety old woman, a flamboyant young man, an army major, a manly woman, an unexpected guest and a keen young sergeant. All of these characters find themselves snowed in at a country manor with a murderer on the loose. See if you can discover the murderer before another innocent victim dies in The Mousetrap, where everyone is a suspect and no one can be trusted.
